State HIV Certification Course Offered Dec. 1

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 5, 2009) − The Kentucky AIDS Education Training Center
will present the Two-Hour Kentucky State HIV Certification Course for Medical Professionals
twice on Tues., December 1. Both sessions are free of charge.
The first session will be held from noon-2 p.m. at the UK Medical Center in the Hospital Auditorium, HG-611, with assistant dean for education Frank Romanelli presenting. The second opportunity is slated for 6-8 p.m. at Chrysalis House (1589 Hill Rise Dr.) in Lexington. Dr. Brian Murphy will present during the evening session.
This course meets licensing requirements for all medical professionals within the state of Kentucky, excluding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Prior registration is required, using course ID: 1019490 for the daytime session, and course ID: 1019492 for the evening session. Attendance by video conference is also available for those wishing to attend the day session. Please contact Jennifer Edwards, jdedwa6@uky.edu, for details about attending via video conference.
